I have a custom WC loop on the cpu+ gpu. not a monoblock 2x280 rads + 5x 140mm fans, 2 front intake through rad 2 top vent through rad 1 @ back venting Even with this flow, seems the VRMs are getting too hot and the mobo is powering off due to Overtemp protection. Seems VRM / mobo > 55c would cause poweroff .. I opened the case and pointed a 20cm desk fan @ the board and was able to run normally during a game ( rise of the tomb raider ) CPU is 2700X and gpu is galax HOF 1080Ti. Ram is gskill 3600 @ 3400. I have a 96 / 40mm fan which I may hack into place - or alternatively an expensive option would be to get the mono block for the board.. anyone else seen such high VRM temps ?
