I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Could you elaborate please?

I have 8gb of RAM, 2 sticks of 4gb. Both are brand new DDR3 sticks.

The system recognises that I have 8gb total virtual installed, but says that I only have 4gb physical. In Speccy it shows the same, though both sticks come up on the slot data as 4gb RAM.

My OS is Windows 7 Professional 64bit and my CPU is AMD FX-4130 (Quad core)

I am not sure what is wrong and I hope this is enough information. If you need any more details then let me know.

(Note: Before this I had 8GB of Intel RAM and half of it wasn't being recognised. I tried taking it out and swapping it round and cleaning it etc and it then went down to 2GB. Hence I thought it was a RAM issue, now I am wondering if it is a motherboard issue.)
