I'm trying to migrate my system from a Z97 board. It's windows10. The old system is EFI. I've done dozens of tweaks to get the system the way I want it for live audio.
I used VEEAM to restore a full image from the old computer, and that worked fine, but it gave me a message indicating I might have boot problems. I checked on the VEEAM forums, and that error means I need to enable efi boot on the motherboard, and then it should boot fine. Can someone explain how to enable EFI boot on this board? I'm used to a simple bios setting, but it sounds like you have to have some kind of boot file? Thanks in advance! |
