Hi, just bought Asrock B450m pro4. It was not my first Asrock motherboard but it seems it was the last which I decided to bought(in parallel I'm using too Taichi on Intel platforms with Xeon processors).
As xeon's are not overclock-able [the ones which I'm using] therefore I never had a chance to modify on Taichi anything which is relevant for overclocking. Now I had chance to experience this great opportunity [thx Asrock!] on B450m pro4.

in short:
- not working options in bios [e.g. SOC voltage setting] - just being ignored [yet working from Ryzen Master]
- compatibility downgrade with new updates [that's nice for sure you put a lot of work there especially on testing part ] e.g. tCL plus one higher with upgraded bios! (still the RAM is working out of spec)
- DDR4 voltage options (1.3500 -> 1.400?) nothing in between?
- Ryzen Master superiority [you can set most of the options there and they will work]
- was working with the same CPU also on Asus motherboard [b450m tuf pro gaming] and it's getting expected results

Asrock why you are doing this?

Theory: ASRock may be paid by intel to deliberately sabotage AMD's board lineup, because the a.m. lineup is eating a huge chunk of intel's sales.

Or, ASRock BIOS team is a bunch of poor monkeys, and ASRock is skimming on QA costs.

That's why I ain't touching another ASRock anytime soon.

It looks like. Other things I'm getting:
- ALC 892 no sound functionality at random time [e.g. when you connect headphones] to make it work again I need to disconnect everything :)
- fans control does not work when using "CPU monitoring" [and to make it work I need to use the same parameter but called tctrl ?]
- this may be AMD thing [which yet does not occur on ASUS board] - I need to reset bios when updating AMD chip drivers cause I start to getting iGPU BSODs

Unfortunately I have returned b450m pro4 and replaced it with Asus b450m PRO TUF-Gaming:

Max speed on Asrock:
bios v1.6 - 3200 16/15/15/15/35/50 @ 1.3v
(next bios voltage value for DDR4 is 1.4v ...)

Currently testing on Asus (6h passed without error)
3533 16/15/15/15/35/44 @ 1.375v (SOC @ 1.1v).

b450m pro4 does not deserve "pro4" with current bios options (SOC voltage is a joke, DDR4 voltage is 0.05v changeable e.g. 1.35 ... 1.4, no LLC)

Exactly the same experience here. I don't know how these guys are still in business?
