There is info from tech journalists, that not every one old MB could update for ryzen 3 support in future, because there is not much memory to fit all processor microcodes. Should I worry?

Totally plausible scenario.
For one, you can take a look at your mobo and try to find the BIOS chip. Then google its part number for details. I doubt any manufacturer will provide you directly with their BIOS chip sizes. Another thing - I don't think most manufacturers will support AM4 until 2020. Even if the chip itself could be capable of the new binaries, chance is that most boards will drop support for Ryzen 3 and leter. |

Under Linux, you can use "dmidecode -t bios" to get detailed information for the bios like ROM Size.
Under Windows, use HWiNFO64: ->Motherboard->SMBIOS DMI->BIOS and you can see the bios size in KBytes. My x370 board has a 16 MBit chip (16384 KBytes), probably a candidate which will not support Ryzen3. The newer boards with x470 mostly are using a 32 MBit flash for the bios. |

Totally forgot about these... Nice job! On the topic - https://www.anandtech.com/show/12971/amd-bios-limitations-bristol-ridge-dropped-from-certain-motherboards Even for older mobos there are ways to get new CPUs work on them. We just need to go whine on Reddit and there is a good cahnce AMD and OEM/ODM mat listen! They did for the mobile drivers, so why shouldn't they for the way bigger desktop user base? |

ASUS are advertising even the B350 boards with 128Mb BIOS chip! Check out their site!
Also, every board is advertised with CrashFree BIOS. Something that ASRock lack even on their top AM4 models. |

I have to correct my posting: I meant MegaByte, not Mbit ;-)
