PC specs: ASRock B450m HDV R4.0 | Ryzen 3 3200g | RX 580 2048sp | ADATA XPG SX8200 | 3 SATA storage with 1 being a sata ssd.
I can't set it to PCIe 3.0x4 it was running x4 a few days/week a ago but now its running in x2 speed so Im getting only 1700mb/s instead of 3400mb/s CrystalDiskInfo: https://imgur.com/a/9RQhNGe The nvme drive is 5 months old and mobo is about 7 months old I have tried updating my bios to the latest and tinkered with the settings and its still at PCIe 3.0x2. Tried installing windows on my other drive to see if my NVMe still runs PCIe 3.0x2 in there and it still runs like that. Tried reinstalling/reseating the NVMe and with still no avail. I also accidentally dropped the NVMe ssd and has noticable fraying (the damage: https://imgur.com/a/CHCcU3g) but the drive still works normally and getting advertised speed. I don't have a backup NVMe drive to see if it was the mobo causing the issue since there are a post here with similar problem: https://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=18210&title=nvme-ssd-running-pcie-1-0-instead-of-3-0 |

I would further diagnose this by running the NVMe drive in another PC or using an NVMe-to-PCIe adapter in this motherboard, so you can determine whether the issue lies with the NVMe drive or the motherboard/slot.
