Hey Guys. Running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit with the latest bios and every single day I get this error in the event log once a day...

"AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to write to an illegal IO port address (0x74), which lies in the 0x74 - 0x76 protected address range. This could lead to system instability. Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance."

I've tried troubleshooting this for the past 3 weeks. I've tried 2 completely seperate Extreme4 boards, changing out the ram and video card, different bios settings, and also the factory defaults with nothing fixing it as of yet. Anyone else receiving this error in the event log? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Hello TSD,

Thank you for the quick response. I was on bios version 2.00 when I started this post yesterday, and then I updated to 2.30 right after posting. I have been testing now since yesterday and so far there is no error;) I will keep you updated over the next couple of days to let you know if that has fixed it

Ok TSD,

I can confirm after testing for a few days that the error is indeed fixed in the 2.30 bios update Hopefully this will help anyone else looking for a fix in the future.

Thanks alot and keep up the great work!
