Hi,
I have a big problem with Asus Usb AC51 Wifi and my motherbord Asrock B450 Pro4 (Ryzen 3 1200 and Windows 10 64bit).

This adapter often disconnects itself.

Are there any known issues about this motherboard and usb peripherals/devices?

If I install a pcie wifi adapter, I would solve the problem, do you think?

A simple search in this forum will tell you that this board has many issues. Quite a lot of these are USB-related.

I don't know how good of a driver this AC51 has, on the other hand. It could also be a bad driver or a bad module.

Ususlly fladhing latest BIOS, clearing CMOS, deploying latest version of your favourite OS and then plopping only the drivers directly from the respective manufacturers solves many issues.

Thanks! Yes, I have read about many problems, but not solutions.

My problem of usb disconnection also happens with other usb wifi adapters of other brands, so it is not a problem of adapter drivers.

I have the last bios and windows 10 Pro 64bit 1809.

Very very strange...

Did you install Win 10 from scratch?

Do you have any OC?

Did you clear CMOS?

Did you install the latest AMD chipset drivers?

Here is how I solved my issues with ASRock mobo - I sold it on eBay. Just saying.
