Hi,
I have a big problem with Asus Usb AC51 Wifi and my motherbord Asrock B450 Pro4 (Ryzen 3 1200 and Windows 10 64bit). This adapter often disconnects itself. Are there any known issues about this motherboard and usb peripherals/devices? If I install a pcie wifi adapter, I would solve the problem, do you think? |

A simple search in this forum will tell you that this board has many issues. Quite a lot of these are USB-related.
I don't know how good of a driver this AC51 has, on the other hand. It could also be a bad driver or a bad module. Ususlly fladhing latest BIOS, clearing CMOS, deploying latest version of your favourite OS and then plopping only the drivers directly from the respective manufacturers solves many issues. |

Thanks! Yes, I have read about many problems, but not solutions.
My problem of usb disconnection also happens with other usb wifi adapters of other brands, so it is not a problem of adapter drivers. I have the last bios and windows 10 Pro 64bit 1809. Very very strange... |

Did you install Win 10 from scratch?
Do you have any OC? Did you clear CMOS? Did you install the latest AMD chipset drivers? Here is how I solved my issues with ASRock mobo - I sold it on eBay. Just saying. |
