Hello,
I was playing around with my casefans in the BIOS (2.0) of my ASrock taichi x470 yesterday. everything fine except that the cpu temp was shown at 55°C even though my 2700x is running at 35°C in idle. (I know about the 10°C offset...but 20°C?) Well...I thought "lets try the A Tuning Utility Software from ASRock then" So I went on the website of the x470 Taichi and downloaded the Software. I scanned all Fans and that worked well. However when I changed the dots on the Graph for the fans (CPU Fan1) suddenly I hear a very loud "beep/coil whine" coming from inside the case. It is very loud and high pitched thats why I am saying beep/coil whine. It almost sounds as if there's a small speaker that beeps. After rebooting the system the noise is gone and I try it again. This time with Chassie Fan1. And again when replacing the dots in the Graph the beep/whine noise randomly starts again. All my case fans are connected to the PWM unit which is already mounted in the Fractal Design Define S2. And the unit is connected to the chassie fan connector on the taichi. Could this Problem be linked to the software or have I connected the fans wrong? I appreciate any help! Thanks |
