Hello, so I know that most boards these days send power even though the rest of the computer is turned off. This is often called "ErP"
With previous systems I would disable this feature to ensure that my USB microphone and my power LED would turn off once I shut down the computer. (my power LED is unique since my system is built inside a PowerMac G5 case with a modified front panel. My powerLED is a modified G5 PoweMac front panel that functions using a special cable that functions like this: https://imgur.com/a/eLw5tCg . The cable uses the + pins for the power switch and front panel LED.) With my ASRock B450M Pro4 however, I can't seem to find any ErP settings. I know that the "Deep Sleep" setting in the BIOS is supposed to do what I want, however even with Deep Sleep enabled, my Mic and power LED remain lit after shutting down. If anyone knows how I can disable ErP support, or a setting that will make the power LED turn off at shutdown, I would be extremely appreciative. |
