I completely upgraded a system (new system below) and when I wanted to boot Windows from the Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD, which was in my old system, the SATA SSD was recognized in the BIOS, but I couldn't select it as a BOOT option. Any tips/BIOS settings on how to fix this please?   thx
The BIOS is on Version 1.27(Newest to this day)

Check your CSM and boot settings in your BIOS. If the drive was set up with CSM
and legacy boot enabled it will not be detected as a valid boot device with it
disabled. The same applies the other way around too. Looking at the manual for
your board's BIOS I couldn't find the CSM settings (usually under the boot menu).

If the drive is set up as a UEFI (GPT) drive it requires CSM be disabled
If it is set up as MBR (legacy mode) then it requires CSM be enabled

All I could find in your manual was the secure boot option, CSM may be enabled
and disabled when changing this setting, I don't know for sure as I don't own
your board. Try enabling it/disabling it and see if it gives your drive as a boot
option afterwards.

Failing that, see if you can see your drive if you hit the "F11" key during
POST (when the ASRock logo shows). This will pull up the boot selection menu.

I hope this makes sense, good luck.
