Hello, I have 2 ssd m2. I don't know where should I insert it.
1 ssd 256 GB (system) 2 ssd 512 GB (files for adobe premiere) 3 hdd 2TB (movies) Where I shoud put m.2 ssd?? M2_1 (system), M2_2 (files)? or M2_3 (system), M2_1 (files)?? why I have only 2 stickers "ultra m.2" on M2_1 and M2_2? m2_3 is slower? |

Dear Spamkuba,
Thank you for choosing ASRock. All of the M.2 slots support SATA 3 and PCIe Gen3 x4, three slots has the same bandwidth. If your M.2 SSD (system) doesn?™t have heatsink, we suggest connecting to the M2_3 (with heatsink) slot for better cooling. Thank you! Yours truly, ASRock TSD |

Also note
*M2_1, SATA3_0 and SATA3_1 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the others will be disabled. If M2_2 is occupied by a SATA-type M.2 device, SATA3_3 will be disabled. M2_3, SATA3_4 and SATA3_5 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the others will be disabled. From https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Z390%20Taichi/index.asp#Specification |
