Hello,

Z97E-ITX/ac with Broadwell i5-5675C / Iris 6200 Pro - can anyone explain me these screenshots?

Upper one shows Iris 6200 Pro clock with UEFI option "Render Standby" enabled. GPU clock runs
at 1100 MHz all the time incl. idle (at least GPU-Z and AIDA64 show me this), irrespective of any
Intel or Windows GPU energy-saving options. But CPU/GPU/RAM idle power consumption is low,
around ~22 watt combined. With "idle" I mean 2D/Windows desktop when nothing else is to do
for CPU and GPU.

Lower one shows it with "Render Standby" disabled. GPU clocks down to 450 MHz at idle now, but
idle power consumption raising to ~36 watt then?!?

So is this a mainboard+Broadwell+BIOS issue, or are the detected durable 1100 MHz idle of the
upper screenshot just a wrong software readout?

Come on plz, can anyone cross-check this? How fast/slow your Iris 6200 Pro clocks at idle?
Slowly but surely I believe I´m the only one on this planet who use a Z97E-ITX/ac + Broadwell + Iris IGP... Wacko

Both those screenies taken with absolutely no background graphics activity whatsoever present?

Check them in Safe Mode and see if this is duplicated.
