Hello,
I would like to use an ASRock Quad Ultra M2 PCIe Card inside an ASRock X99 OC Formula board. Unfortunately it seems the standard BIOS does not support lane bifurcation. But there were posts that a beta BIOS for the X99-ITX once existed that had support. So I wanted to ask if there is some (old?) beta BIOS for the X99 OC Formula, too? This would be very helpful. Thanks for comment |

Hello,
in the meantime I got a BIOS Version 3.40A which should have bifurcation for slot 2 and 3. But after testing it I must say it does not work with ASRock Quad ultra M2 card. I really wonder what the BIOS guys use for testing such features. Can't be ASRocks own cards though ... |

Ok, since ASRock could not solve the problem I bought a SuperMicro board where everything (including the ASRock Quad Ultra M2 Card) worked out of the box. Really, ASRock is no good at this point.
