Hi,

I have a H370m-itx and have the following issue:
A TBS 6981 dvb-s pci-e 1x card is not detected on this motherboard.
The card is powered perfectly, gets warm but is not detected in the os.
I tried Linux, Windows, Vmware and Proxmox.

When I put in a pci-e 4x network card it gets detected without any issue.
I do not have any other 1x cards in my possession.

Any idea on how I could proceed?

Forgot to mention: I already updated the bios to the latest version.

Dear Yelti,

Thank you for choosing ASRock.

Because the other PCIE card works fine, the motherboard's PCIE slot should work fine.
Please try to set the PCIE link speed to GEN1 and check if it can help.
BIOS Path: Advanced > Chipset Configuration > PCIE1 Link speed

Also, we suggest contacting the PCIE card manufacturer to check if it can work at H370 chipset.

Thank you!
Yours truly,
ASRock TSD

Hi,

This did the
trick. It's working now, so probably something wrong in the autodetection mechanism.
The card is like 4 years old, I doubt I will get support for it.
