Hi all

I updated my motherboard with the latest bios ver 5.90, and my motherboard not save the CPU_SOC after set manually. For example I set to 1.200 mv and in windows the Rzyzen Timing checker and the Ryzen Master show it is just 1.1.I can change in Ryzen Master without any problem, but this is another restart.

Anyone know a solution for this?

There is no Bios 5.90 for AB350M Pro4. All the AB350M variants have versions < 2.

But anyway, you should always provide the full Spec, at least RAM and the CPU.
If you are using one of the new bios versions with AGESA Combo-AM4 1.0.0.1 for the Zen2/Matisse CPUs: These versions are beta!
To use them with older CPUs is completely nonsens.
A solution for you problem would be a new bios version.
Or try a power cycle after setting CPU_SOC manually.

I plan to upgrade my CPU, that`s why I Flashed this bios.
Every other settings are saved except this one.

BTW I am using Ryzen 5 1600, 32Gb ram(4x8Gb),EVGA Rtx 2060 (was Vega 64 but died) ,750W EVGA SuperNOVA G2L PSU, 256Gb Nvme SSD, 512Gb sata SSD, 1 TB HDD.

Congratulation!

Did you make some RAM stress tests?

But where did you get a Bios 5.90 for AB350M Pro4?
And CPU_SOC now is saved?

After 8 hour memtest and 4 hour of BF5 multi I am not say I finished testing but looks ok to me.
Now I not need change the SOC Voltage, only 1 thing I changed 1st to 3000 after, tried 3200 did not post, then I tried 3133Mhz and That`s it.
Before with 2 stick of ram (with the R5 1600) I reached rated speed but was not 100% stable. I had problem with BF5 random crash to desktop, or freeze sometime after 10 min, sometimes after 2 hour, every other program or game was ok, strange....

Obviously there are different board revisions!
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M%20Pro4%20R2.0/index.asp
And all the other AB350 variants have lower bios versions < 2.
And the website only shows these boards when looking for B350 boards.
But with searching for "AB350M Pro4" one can also find the page from your board with bios Bios 5.90.

AB350M Pro4 R2.0 got a new bios 1.60 with AMD AGESA Combo-AM4 1.0.0.3 ABB today.

this is really strange, but I have an older version, not R2.0. What are their differences? I did not find any information on the manufacturer?™s website.
