Hallo,

I build a new system with an ASRock B450M Pro4, a Ryzen 5 3600 plus 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX schwarz DDR4-3000 DIMM CL16 RAM.

I observed BOOT issues from the beginning: It took a couple of times (Reset, Repowering) until the BIOS message poped up and Windows 10 was loaded.

I upgraed to BIOS 3.5 recently which definetly improved the situation. I used the PC quite often during last weekend and every startup was succesfull with BIOS times about 13s reported by Windows 10.

This morning I started the system and the issues suddenly continue: It took 4-5 Reset/ Repowering sycles until the system booted.

Hans

Hopefully these issues can be fixed via BIOS Updates!

Hi, set your SOC voltage manually to 1.05 and try. Probably issues will solve.

I manually set the frequency of the RAM memory and slightly increased the voltage. So far it seems ok, except for the long post (12 sec until the possibility of entering the bios appears)

I'll follow your advice.
Thanks!

With Soc voltage set to 1.05, everything is ok, for now.
Thanks ekalkici!

Thanks ekalkici!

Happy to help.
First time amd user here, switched from Intel to AMD.
I tried every voltage setting in bios. See that if these voltages are too much it makes system unbootable , resets on boot or unstable.

When these voltages are set to auto and your ddr4 speed is above 3200 , these voltages becomes too high. And this causes problems. I think auto settings must be revised in newer bioses.

Also when fine tuning your ram , these voltages must be tested with stability tests and 3D games to make sure everythng is ok.

My stable voltage settings for Ryzen 3600 &DDR4 micron e-die @3800mhz @ CL16 :

SoC/Uncore OC Voltage (VID)   : 1.100
CLDO VDDP Voltage Control     : 0.920
CLDO VDDG CCD Voltage Control : 1.030
VDIMM ram voltage             : 1.400
CLDO VDDG IOD Voltage Control : 1.030
