My X570 Taichi motherboard can not boot any XMP setting above 3000MHz. This is so annoying because If I overclock the RAM speed above 3000MHz, the entire desktop will just restart over and over again. It will stay black screen as well so I can?™t even get into the bios setting to reset it as default. Eventually, I have to remove the CMOS for 30 seconds in order to default the motherboard BIOS. My RAM kit is 4x8G gskill Trident Z Neo . XMP file is 3600Mhz,1.35V,18-22-22-42. Right now, with the 1.70A version of the bios, the maximum RAM speed I can get is 2933MHz. I checked on the reddit , a lot of people said that the latest 1.80 version will make the motherboard RAM even more unstable so I haven?™t update it yet.

Overclocking RAM by just selecting XMP profile is always like a lottery.
The platform is new and bios versions now are better, but the beta phase is still not finished.

You should first try higher RAM clock speeds with only 2 RAM sticks.
And learn how to setup and stability test your RAM!

Read, understand the guide and than use the tools:

A thread for your motherboard:

I wish you succes.
