Hi guys,
I bought this board in the last few days to go with my 3900x. I want 64gb for ram. I bought two kits of F4-3200C14D-32GVK The problem is that I'm not able to set the ram at the actual speed with XMP. 3200CL14. If I do this setting, all I have is a black screen and I need to reset the cmos using the jumper. I can manually set the ram to 3600CL16 but it's not stable, I'm getting a lot of error in memtestx86. The only way that I find to be able to boot without any errors was to set the ram to 2933CL14. Is there a problem with the board? Is my ram faulty? What should I do? Regards, Ben |

Hello,
Please look at below url. https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/X570M%20Pro4/#Specification Basically, if you insert 4 cards, clock is drop. Please don't worry. nothing is broken. |

This is strange.
Other people since to be able to run 4 sticks at higher speed See: http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=12312&title=x570m-pro4-1800-fclk-no-boot Or: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/SingleProductReview?ReviewID=10228695 |

General:
a) 2 single rank sticks in A2/B2 will have the most potential for high clocks. b) 2 dual rank sticks in A2/B2 will be a bit behind a) c) 4 single rank sticks will behave like b) d) 4 dual rank sticks will have the lowest clock. You have 4 d) Your links are showing c) It is normal, that this RAM config runs with 2933CL14. Test the RAM with only two sticks in A2/B2, another test with two sticks in A1/B1. And then think about the 4 stick usage... Anyway, if you want to reach 3200CL16 or 3200CL14 or higher, you obviously have to dive deeper for RAM, voltages and mainboard configuration. Use the Ryzen DRAM Calculator and study the docu. And take a look to the results from other users. https://www.overclock.net/forum/13-amd-general/1640919-new-dram-calculator-ryzena-1-6-1-overclocking-dram-am4-membench-0-8-dram-bench.html |

Thank you man. After a few hours of tweaking with Ryzen DRAM Calculator, my ram is now stable AF at 3600CL16.
