May seem like an odd question but am curious about anyone still running any older Asrock motherboard. My oldest still running is an Asrock Penryn1600SLI-110db from 2008 with a Q9650 cpu that I use for video streaming and some archiving purposes.

I have an old Socket 775 board, I don't remember the model offhand. I have it running with a core 2 duo e6600.
I believe it was manufactured in 2005/6. The onboard audio is dead but everything else works flawlessly. Mine is a leftover from an upgrade I did for a friend and he didn't want it back. I have had other, even older ASRock boards but I sold them on when I upgraded. I don't really use it for anything but it's in a complete, working system paired with a Creative labs X-Fi sound card. I was going to use it for some retro gaming but it's not really old enough. |
