I have a D5 pump installed on the CPU opt connector in PWM pump mode in the BIOS. Using custom settings I cannot set the value of the target speed less than 60% which is too high for just idleing on this sort of pump.
If I set it away from custom and onto silence it drops it down to about 20% which is too low! Normal and anything higher is just driving the pump to hard again. Anyone else having this, has anyone found a work around? |

Dear Jeye,
Thank you for choosing ASRock. Regarding you case, please try to connect the pump to CPU Optional/Water Pump Fan Connector and Chassis Optional/Water Pump Fan Connector. Set the fan to Water Pump mode and use custom setting to adjust the value you want. Also, please try to use A-Tuning under Windows to customize your pump speed. Thank you! Yours truly, ASRock TSD |
