Hi!
Since I started using my new system, I experience sudden freezes and shutdowns/reboots. My system is basically: - Ryzen 3600 - ASRock B450m Pro4 - 16GB DDR4-3200 GSkill XMP 2.0 - Nvidia 1660 - nvme Running on Arch Linux. (Linux 5.3.1-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Sep 21 11:33:49 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux) I found the errors in the log kernel. They are several. One example is the following: Sep 24 22:00:22 HashLDash kernel: pcieport 0000:00:01.3: AER: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Data Link Layer, (Receiver ID) Sep 24 22:00:22 HashLDash kernel: pcieport 0000:00:01.3: AER: device [1022:1483] error status/mask=00000040/00006000 Sep 24 22:00:22 HashLDash kernel: pcieport 0000:00:01.3: AER: [ 6] BadTLP Another example: Sep 24 22:02:36 HashLDash kernel: ucsi_ccg 0-0008: failed to reset PPM! Sep 24 22:02:36 HashLDash kernel: ucsi_ccg 0-0008: PPM init failed (-110) Another one: Sep 24 22:00:14 HashLDash kernel: resource sanity check: requesting [mem 0x000c0000-0x000fffff], which spans more than PCI Bus 0000:00 > Sep 24 22:00:14 HashLDash kernel: caller _nv000926rm+0x1bf/0x1f0 [nvidia] mapping multiple BARs With some research I found that this might be a motherboard/bios problem and most of the people I found with the same problem have ASRock motherboards. That's why I'm here for help. These problems are related to the motherboard? If so, how can I solve them? Thanks in advance! |
