Hi,
Currently very happy with my board, in a month or two I will be adding a third M2 drive, because I do development work for Flight Simulators. Once all three of my M2 slots are populated, can anybody tell me how many additional M2's I can add to a PciE slot please? Would prefer to stay with M2's, especially as the speeds are increasing. I read very briefly that there can be a limitation because of how Intel manages the data bus bandwidth. Can anybody advise me please? Thanks, Andrew. |

Many thanks,

Dear AJT67,
Thank you for choosing ASRock. Since PCIe M.2 needs PCIe x2 or x4, Z390 Taichi can supports three PCIe M.2 SSD with PCIe M.2 adaptor. Three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots will work at x8/ x4/ x4 when three PCIe cards connected. Thank you! Yours truly, ASRock TSD |
