Hello vtancer2, I couldn't resolve the BIOS issues and returned the Beebox. The new one I received has problems as well but I could update the BIOS to v1.30. I still have random freezes of the BIOS but Windows 10 runs quite stable.

What worries me even more is the fact that I also had several random freezes when going through the BIOS menu's. The mouse was still moving but I couldn't select or change anything and had to pull the power. This Beebox has a serious BIOS problem!

edit: I just tried again with a fresh formatted USB stick (2GB) with no other files or folders: after selecting the file in Instant Flash the BIOS freezes. ;-(

I have BeeBox N3150. After Bios upgrading to last one from Windows 10 my BeeBox won't load operating system. It's black screen on my TV but BeeBox working. I can't even go to BIOS settings any more with pressing F2 or DEL at startup.

What can I do? Please help me.

Oh too, USB 2.0 port is imperative. But not 3.0.

All of my sticks above 32GB will not work. Odd. Unless it is how it reads or translated the larger sticks. I dunno, but an old and lowly 4GB 2.0 stick works every time using Instant Flash.

Don't use anything but Instant Flash!!

I've found that a small, 4-8GB, stick works almost all the time.

Format it and make sure there is only the BIOS file residing in the root. No other dirs or anything. Freshly formatted.

Hi,
I am having exactly the same problem as Barry described.
I try to flash the BIOS of my Beebox N3150 from v1.10 to v1.30.

I downloaded and extracted the file N315NUC1.30, put it in the root of a USB stick (FAT32) and started Instant Flash in the Bios. The moment I select the file the BIOS freezes and nothing happens. Mouse and keyboard don't work anymore and I have to pull the power and restart.
When using Internet Flash from the Bios the same file is downloaded but when the download is at 100% the BIOS freezes again.
I tried other USB sticks and other USB ports but nothing helps.
I also resetted the BIOS to it's Default settings and tried to flash but it always freezes.

I flashed hundreds of motherboards in my life this way but never experienced these kind of freezes, there must be something wrong with the BIOS hardware or maybe the flash file is corrupt?
