Bios 2.50
I'm using an Fractal Design Define R6 case with its own fan hub, to which 6 chassis fans are connected. The hub is connected to CPU_FAN2 header. In BIOS CPU_FAN2 is set to PWM mode, monitoring source - Motherboard. When I set custom RPM for each temperature in BIOS the fans follow my directions and set to the proper RPM for that temperature.

But in Windows, when I monitor motherboard temperature by HWINFO program, I can hear that chassis fans don't change the speed at all even though motherboard temperature went well above the one that's set in BIOS for that speed. In others words, fans follow speed curve in BIOS but not in Windows. Why is that?

I don't want to run the Asrock program for fan adjustment but rather rely on BIOS.

CPU fan follows my custom profile in Windows well.

Was it your choice to run them on manual or it didn't work like in my situation?

My PSU comes with a 5" front potentiometer panel. I'm connecting them there and controlling them manually if I remember and can be bothered to.
