As Was stated in the subject, I've tried using the USB method im currently on P4.60 and ive tried even using the internet flash and it came up with no firmware found, ive done all the steps that asrock says in its guidelines and there are no files found when using usb. It is formated to FAT32 and only has the BIOS files on it.

You did not tell to which version you want to update.

Coming from 4.60 you first have to update to 5.20 before going to a newer version.

*** If the current BIOS version is older than P5.20, please update BIOS to P5.20(PinnaclePI-AM4_1.0.0.6) before updating this version.

And i would not recommend using internet flash.

If the bios file from the zip archive is not found, the reason could be the stick even if formatted with FAT32. Try another stick with max. 32GB size.

@ray62 thank you so much, so it was probably just the usb not being efficient enough. I went out and bought 2 new usb sticks and it's working great now.
