Although DriveXPG GAMMIX S11 Pro PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 Solid State claims to reach a read speed of up to 3500 MB/s, on my ASROCK Z97 EXTREME 4, it is only reaching 828 MB/s on Crystal Diskmark:

However, CrystalDiskInfo shows a PCI 3.0 x4 mode in use.

How to get its full speed?

Dear Rogeriodec,

Thank you for posting your query to ASRock forum.

Regarding your question about the speed of the M.2, Z97 Extreme4 can support M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen2 x2.

To allow ADATA S11 Pro to operate close to 3500MB/s, kindly try the M.2 on
motherboards that support M.2 speed up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s).

*Please be noted that other components of the system can also affect the speed of the M.2.

With thanks,
ASRock TSD

So why CrystalDiskInfo is showing PCIe 3.0 x4 for the current motherboard?
