Hello all, Thank you for the help in advance. I have updated my AS ROCK p67 Extreme 4 Gen 3 motherboard bios from 1.1 to 2.2 in preparation for upgrading CPUs. Upon doing so, my system is unable to boot to windows, though I can enter the bios without difficulty. The error message states that the "boot drive is inaccessible." Thus far, I have done the following: 1. Ensured that my boot prior in BIOS was correct 2. Switched from IDE to AHCI 3. Read copious amounts of forum material I have read that there has been trouble with other versions of the Extreme4 motherboard upon upgrading the bios. Here is one such example: http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=3132&PN=1&title=asrock-p67-extreme4-and-windows-10-bios-update If I understand my problem correctly, I will need to either: 1. Enter the bios and use instant flash upgrade or downgrade my BIOS or... 2. Get a new ROM from AS ROCK, though per others on the forum, this takes about 4 weeks!!! ??? Unfortunately, the motherboard web page does not have a BIOS flash download option available. Does anyone know of a link to a more recent bios update to this motherboard that is available in flash format (similar to the post above)? The board home page only has windows download options. If it helps, my system is currently: -AS ROCK p67 Extreme 4 Gen3 -Intel 5 2400 @3.1 GHz -8 GB RAM -Samsung EVO 1 TB SSD Please let me know if I can provide any further information!
