Z170 Pro Gaming RAID1 can't boot M2 SM950

   I'm trying to setup a Z170 Pro Gaming board to have two SATA drives on RAID1 but with a M2 Samsung 950 drive as the OS drive to boot in to. However whenever I have the two SATA drives in RAID the board no longer is able to see or boot the M2 drive.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
