Okay thank you for the response.

I'm still a bit confused as to whether this goes into the M2_1 or M2_2 slot.

Thank you for any follow-up

- 1 x Ultra M.2 Socket (M2_1), supports M Key type 2242/2260/2280 M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s) (with Matisse, Picasso, Summit Ridge, Raven Ridge and Pinnacle Ridge) or Gen3 x2 (16 Gb/s) (with Athlon 2xxGE series APU)

- 1 x M.2 Socket (M2_2), supports M Key type 2230/2242/2260/2280 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module

*M2_2 and SATA3_3 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the other one will be disabled.

The WDS500G2B0B is a SATA M2 SSD, so you have to use it with M2_2.

ASRock B450M PRO4 Motherboard.

I installed the WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB Internal SSD - SATA III 6Gb/s M.2 2280 Solid State Drive - WDS500G2B0B but it?™s not recognized in the bios nor on Windows 10 OS.

I?™ve spent too many hours reading online posts, help posts on your website and watching YouTube videos, following all instructions without any success.

Is this M.2 drive compatible with ASRock B450M PRO4 Motherboard? If yes, please help as I am so frustrated.

I installed a 4G/bs WD Sata non-m.2 drive which works perfectly. As the M.2 drive was not recognized in bios I couldn?™t boot from that drive. I tried removing the non-m.2 drive and left the M.2 drive to see if it would be recognized in the bios but nothing.

Thank you

Hey mate, I recently just built mine with the B450m steel legend, I have the same M.2 drive, its a 500gb green Nand ssd, it doesn't show in windows installer, or bios, i tried updating my bios and it didn't work, I took my 2tb HHD out to try and force it to recognise and still no luck, I tried putting it in the lower slot and alas nothing, I'm assuming it only supports NVME drives and not NAND, if you have any answers or wanna work it out together, shoot me an email, andy help would be greatly appreciated
