Hi
Just last week my PC sits at the ASROCK boot screen for about 5 mins and then boots up (probably slower than it should) for some reason. I just went and ran Computer Management as I am typing this to check my partitions and it says Disk 3 is not initialized (my secondary drive) and needs to do it (I press cancel), only this Disk is already initialized and accessible in my partition list as Disk 1 (my secondary drive). 100% that it is the drive as I have none of that size on my PC. 1. Would this be what causing it the no boot for 5 mins? MB gives me no error code in the Dr. LED screen and Disk 1/3 is not my main boot drive. 2. I am worried that if I do initialize it Disk 3, it may stuff up my drive's data which is accessible Thanks. |

Easy test, disconnect the drive and boot without it. If it gets through post faster
then the drive has some kind of issue. If it's connected via SATA cable, connect it with a new cable to a different SATA port. Let us know how it goes. |
