This is a profile for exactly this RAM. If you do not have this RAM, choose AUTO.

How does it differ from the XMP Profile?
What does this profile set, when selected? |

The XMP profiles are made for the Intel platform and are not always the best for Ryzen, especially for the first Ryzen generation.
This selectable profile for this RAM is (or should be) optimzed for Ryzen. Try it and compare if you want to see the difference. |

Comparing to the XMP Profile it lowers the DRAM Voltage to 1.3V.
The Timings stay the same. |

hehe, was tripped up by this too: upgraded from 2x8 LPX to 2x16 Ballistix, then noticed this. Lot's of elements for confusion...
Thought something was amiss, that the system saw the new ram but kept the old name etc. But it seems to be a hardcoded compatibility fix for this RAM. |
