Hi guys,

i just bought an entirely new system and i'm having quite some issues with it.

When I press the power button, the fans start to spin, but nothing is displayed at the screen for about 10 seconds.

During these 10 seconds, Dr. Debug is displaying various error codes. I made a video of that and could read the following codes (the "b"s might be "6"s - i'm not quite sure about that - 5 out of 7 segments were used to display the character - top and upper right were off): 14, 15, C2, b7, 54,7A, 2b, 3F, b2, 99, A2, 0d

After these 10 seconds, Dr. Debug does not display anything anymore and i get this "press F2 to enter setup"-screen, that i would have expected about 10 seconds earlier.

I can then use the system until it eventually freezes under Manjaro Linux or reboots under Windows 10.

Before sending the hardware back to the online shop in order to have it checked, the system even froze after using the secure erase tool for SSDs integrated into the Bios. I closed the window, after the process had been finished and the area of the window became black and the system was completely frozen.

The shop claims, they checked everything and of course everything is just fine. I got the components back today and reassembled my system just to receive the same error!

I already used MemTest86 and Prime95 on the system and received no errors (MemTest ran for about 12 hours and completed a full check cycle with no errors).

I hope, that somebody around here has some advice for me. Might it be a mistake on my side? If yes, i had no damn clue, what i might be doing wrong...

Setup:
- Board: ASRock Fatal1ty X399 Professioal Gaming
- CPU: AMD Threadripper 1950X
- RAM: 4 * 16 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX (CMK64GX4M4B3333C16 ver:4.31)
- GPU: 1 * Zotac GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB
- SSD0: 1 * 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 2280
- SSD1: 1 * 1TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 2280
- PSU: 1000 Watt be quiet! Straight Power 11 Modular 80+ Gold

Any ideas?

Regards,
TheDude

Just saw, that the box of my Ram says CMK32GX4M2C3333C16. I bought 2 boxes of 2 16GB-Modules each and i really hope, the red sections refer to the package size...

I searched for the module name from the compatibility list and as the shop did not have this name maintained i googled it and bought from the shop what seemed to be the very same.

Might that be the issue? Could this cause such problems even without loading the XMP-profile?
