Extreme4 z370 CPU Help

   Hello! I am in the process of building my gaming PC and currently have the AsRock Extreme4 z370 motherboard, The problem i am having is getting the right CPU i originally wanted the i7 9700k but according to a certain website it was not compatable or needed a Bios update.

As my pc is not setup yet still been built I am unsure what BIOS version i have and what CPU I can actually run straight out the box with no update. 

The only way I can tell is by looking at the board, can anyone give me some recommendations on what CPU to run please? Or if i can run the i7 9700k. Thanks.

	Not sure if the photo is working or not but the motherboard shows P1.80

	can anyone give me some recommendations on what CPU to run please Look at the QVL get the cheapest cpu to use to flash the bios.

	Thank you, can I use a chip for an older BIOS? Will a P1.60 still work in my P1.80 board.

	The cpu can run on any bios file that supports it. Get the cheapest cpu off that list It will work to flash to the version you need.
