Hello everyone, im using a B450M steel legend motherboard and when restart the PC for more than 2 hours the clock and bios setting will be turn to default and the time is messed up. i already changed the Cmos battery, but the problem is not solved. have anyone encountered the same problem? than you in advanced.

CPU - R5 3600
GPU - RX580
RAM - Adata Spectrix D41 (8 X 2) GB

what bios version?

Yes, I had this problem too, finally went to warranty, the officer wipe clean bios then reflash bios using external circuit board tool.

i would say the more simple answer is


you bios settings are unstable (E.G. YOUR RAM SETTINGS)
and when you COLD BOOT the system its failing ram training and resetting defaults

this is a very very obvious indicatation

either buy better ram
or
loosen up the timings set in bios for the ram
