Hi there,

I tried to install new RAM on my Deskmini A300.
Changing from 8 (2x4) GB to 16 (2x8) GB (both 2666 Mhz).
Restarted the PC - no blue light on the power button, fan turning on and changing speeds regularly (slow-fast-slow-fast), no display port output.

Switched back to the old RAM, unplugged the BIOS battery, turned it back on.
No blue light on the power button, fan constantly running at one speed, no display port output.

Do you have any suggestions on what I could do?

Best,
Florian

Make sure the RAM is properly seated and nothing is shorting. Pull power from the
unit and disconnect the battery again. Leave it like that for 10 mins or so then
give it another try. If you get it back up and running with the old RAM, repeat
the process (battery out etc) and install the new RAM.

Thanks for the advise. I followed the routine - neither with the new nor the old RAM, it started back up.

Is there anything else that I could try?

With the power brick disconnected from the system, short the clear CMOS pads on
the motherboard. Disconnect the battery and leave the system disconnected from
power for 1 hour. let us know if that gets you up and running again.

If not, send ASRock a support ticket:

Provide a link to this thread in the description so they can see what you have
tried.
