the spec says
*If PCIE6 is occupied and the Thunderbolt??support is enabled, PCIe type M.2 SSD on M.2_2 will be disabled.

is this maybe your issue ?

have you tried the drive in both m2 slots ?

failing that id be inclined to direct it to the amd raid driver when it asks for a driver and set the raid type to JBOD this will make it one drive without mirroring or striping etc

New build (AsrockX570Creator, AMDRyzen93900X), no operating sytem installed yet.

What exact BIOS settings should I enter to make this SSD
https://www.westerndigital.com/products/internal-drives/wd-blue-3d-nand-sata-ssd

recognized by this mother board?

I have tried several suggestions, such as this one, but with no success:
http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1236&KW=m2+ssd+bios&title=how-to-install-windows-on-a-pcie-ssd

During installation attempt of Windows10 via USB stick with WindowsMediaCreationTool, process hangs up because no storage device is found; it requests uploading of driver.

I understand that I must enable the M2 slot in BIOS, but I cannot find any clear (idiot-proof :) ) instructions on how to do this.

Thank you for this forum
