I just built a ASRock b460m pro4 with Ryzen 5 2600 CPU. Cooler master 212 Evo.
G Skill aegis 16gb ram 3200mhz. Msi rx570 armor of 8gb.

It turns on with no monitor signal. I have reseated plugs... Changed monitor cables..... reseated Ram.... reseated CPU. Can't get it to do anything.

Do not connect the monitor cable to the mainboard!
But directly to the graphics card.

The connections on the mainboard only work if a CPU with internal graphics card is installed.

The Ryzen 5 2600 does not have integrated graphics so plugging any video cables into the motherboard headers is not going produce any kind of a video signal.

Make sure your video card is properly seated .. try booting with just 1 stick of ram .. with monitor cable plugged into your video card

a few things to try

fit the gpu in the lower pcie slot and see if you get an output there

also are you using any kind of adapter c\able from the rx570 to the monitor

eg a dvi to vga convertor plug/lead of some kind

if so this dosnt work on this board ............ask me how i know

if you get display when using the bottom pcie slot then we are most of the way there to getting this fixed

It's worth mentioning, that is Gskill Aegis RAM, I often see it not work on AM4,
especially with pre 3000 series CPUs. Aegis is designed for intel. Unfortunately
it tends to be one of the cheapest RAM models available and we often see people
having issues with it on AM4.

If Datonyb's suggestions do not work, your next step should be to try different
RAM. Fortis is Gskill's budget AMD line.

if its not the pcie slot then i tend to agree with xaltar

allthough to be fair this board seems quite good with ram ability

i have unsupported crucial ballistix 3200 kit work instantly with a ryzen 1600af

if you do change ram the ballistix seems a safe bet for cheap but appearently good ram
