That is about the same as I see on my X570 Taichi. Datonyb has a good point, you
want your M.2 in the primary slot as that will take some load off the chipset,
reducing heat somewhat and give you less latency/better performance.

can i ask why use the second slot ?
this forces the communication to go thru the chipset rather than first slot direct to cpu

Hello, first post here. I am a new ASRock x570 Taichi owner and couldn't be happier with the setup! While watching temps at idle in HWiNFO64, the MB seems to sit at around 51c along with the S/B at 51c. I am seeing decent CPU temps idle with the stock stealth cooler at around low 40s, with Tdie idles around 36/38c.

My question; Are these temperatures normal for x570 boards to be sitting at, around the low 50s?

I have my M.2 SSD in the second slot, not sure if this effects temps for the board..
