Hi,

I have purchased just built up my X570M Pro4 built.

Tried installing the Gigabyte dual-band GC-CI22M_A Intel CNVI Wifi Upgrade Kit but system is not recognizing it.

Once I login to windows, the device is not detected and hence I cannot select my wifi connection.

This is a recommended build onli.ne Is there issues with the motherboard? Appreciate your assistance.

I read that you need to unplug the PSU from the motherboard completely then attach the module. If this is true, you may need to remove the bios battery as well before installing to clear anything that may have saved when you installed it the first time.

After these two if it's not being recognized, I would check the bios for a setting that enables CNVI throught the m.2, there may also be something in Windows to force it to use one of the USB ports to connect to the m.2(I read that using CNVI in M.2 should automatically do this).

Let me know if this works, thinking about getting one for my build!

I've got the dual band wireless-ac 8265 installed on my x570 Pro4 and haven't had any issues with it. It could be as the above said and it needs to be installed while the mobo is without power--mine was included in the initial build and I had it in there before the board ever got plugged in.
