Hi Bought an ASRock B450M that has Glacial boot times from Power button to start of OS load the quickest time i have achieved is 3 Mins the usual to start OS load is around 6 - 8 mins. BIOS V2.90 CPU is Ryzen 5 3600 Memory is 2x 8GB Crucial CT8G4DFS8266.8FE1, 1 x Corsair SSD 240 GB CSSD-F240GBMP500 plus a bunch of HDD drives but that makes no difference with these to boot time. Once its into the OS its an ok board but its just these long boot times. Raised a ticket with support 3 weeks ago but still awaiting response. Anyone got any tips suggestions to improve boot times?

Disconnect all drives but the SSD, see how long this takes. Disk detection is probably the longest operation during post.

as above
have you a spare ssd/hdd you can chuck a win10 install on to check ? also try reset bios to defaults in case your suffering from ram training delays |

Have swapped different combinations of SSD worst was a single 500gb Evo Pro 9mins to boot. The best is 2 mins with NVMe into Windows but this averages 2'30s to start. In the running config the boot time is 3 min. Running config is 1x 240GB NVme 4x4TB,plus 1 x TB, 1 x 3TB & 240GB SSD on a Addon SATA card. Been through all the BIOS reset processes. But it just seems slower than any other MBoard to boot in my experience. its seconds difference on OS's (Win2019, W10, Linux or BSD). It just seems any thign related to the BIOS or MBoard is slooooow. Shutdown as well takes a couple of mins from terminating the Windows processes.
