Hi!
I'm recovering a very old but well preserved PC with this configuration: _______________________ Operating System Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 (build 7601) Boot Mode: BIOS (Secure Boot not supported) System Model Enclosure Type: Desktop Processor 2,67 gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 64 kilobyte primary memory cache 3072 kilobyte secondary memory cache 64-bit ready Multi-core (2 total) Not hyper-threaded Main Circuit Board b Board: ASRock G41M-VS3. Bus Clock: 267 megahertz BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. Also i'm installing Windows 10, being that win 7 reached its end of life. I want to know two things: 1 - I cannot find win10 versions for the mobo drivers. Will win 7 versions work fine? 2 - as for the motherboard being so old, should I update its BIOS? (I know its not recommended to update the BIOS when the system is working fine, but I'm intending to upgrade my system with new hardware, and so I'm wondering if any new firmware versions will add some more hardware compatibility to the motherboard.) Thank you all! |
