Hi guys,

I have 2 X470 Taichi board and on both of them there is a USB C connector as a rear connector.

Unfortunately when I plug my USB C cable to plug my phone (Oneplus 7) nothing happens.

The phone doesn't charge nor there is a detected device on my computer (W10 x64) so I was wondering as I get the same issue on 2 different boards bought at 2 different time if there is something that I need to do to enable the rear USB-C port?

Ideas welcome.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for the comment.
I tried that but still doesn't work.

I have nothing that indicates a driver issue in the device manager.

Really weird... hence I'm thinking it has to be enabled somewhere in the BIOS?

well you could check in the bios

but as a rule
default bios settings tend to have the usb enabled by default

ok I figured it out. Somehow the cable I had wasn't working. I just bought another one today and guess what? It works!

This thing drove me crazy...!

Thanks for helping!
