I recently purchased this motherboard but can't get any memory to complete post. I get a d7 error on the read out.
I bought the wrong memory, 3400 but it should work just run slower, and that failed. Memory started in the blue slots A1 and B1 and tried the new stuff in the white, A2 and B2. Corsair: Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 X 8GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 1.35V Desktop Memory - Black Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Desktop Memory Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16),Vengeance LPX Black Both failed at d7. Processor is the Ryzen 7 3700X, I have a video card in the system as well. Any help on where I am going wrong? |

Try update bios This motherboard really suck with memory
For 2 months try to run it buy like 1TB ECC RAM nothing work even buy extra cpu for flash bios but was unsupported. Then buy some sh*t crap NON ECC and its start work. So FOR ECC memory only from memory QVL https://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=X470D4U#Memory Update your bios that maybe help but really with my expirence with ECC 128Gb was rally painful and have to pay more for samsung memory |
