Hi all,

I have replaced my motherboard recently as my z370 pcie port died. Everything is working great with the exception of wifi. I removed and reinstalled all of the intel drivers, and have tried both the one from the asrock site and the one straight from Intel's page.

I am getting maybe 8 megs where other devices, and the previous motherboard get in the range of 80mbps.

I checked auto tuning and it is set to normal. The odd thing is the driver version on windows is showing as 19.something whereas the drivers I downloaded and installed are 21.90.x. I even removed the device and checked the box to remove the drivers, then reinstalled.

Any other ideas? I don't think this board has a slot to put in another wifi card so I really need to get this going. When I look at the actual wifi module on the chip I don't see anything out of the ordinary and as mentioned this is a new mobo, purchased this month.

Dear Mattyfresh,

Thanks for posting!

The driver version will not always be the same when installed. Sometimes the driver version will show one version, once installed it will show different numbers in the system. It is normal.

Let's get into the WiFi question,
1. Please make sure to connect antennas to the system.
2. Has the WiFi been connected via a different router or network to see if it is the network/router related?
3. Also, on the page. 7 there is an M.2_WiFi1 bundle next to the LAN port, please try to remove the bundle and check if the WiFi cable is connected to the WiFi module properly.

With thanks,
ASRock TSD
