Good morning,
I have a B450 Steel Legend, with Ryzen 2700x and a case Sharkoon REV200 (with 5 ARGB 5v cooler fan).

I installed the ASROCK Polycrome Sync and I already flashed with "Flash the RGB chip using the following command "WriteFW.bat"

BUT the controller still don't work with the case lights. DDRAM and CPU fan works great, but I cannot control the addressable 5v controller

have you tried both version 2.0.38 and 2.0.66 versions of the Polychrome software?

Yes, I tried both versions.
And I have another issue too: even with D5 disabled, mobo light still stays swiched on after pc shutdown

Have you tried flashing the RGB LED Firmware?

I've faced the same issue where the onboard RGB went rogue and decided to put on a light show by themselves, despite me trying to control them using ASRock Polychrome

If you haven't, you might want to try the following steps

1. Open CMD with Adminstrator
2. Direct the CMD to the folder where ASRRGBLED is located
try : cd C:\Program Files (x86)\ASRock Utility\ASRRGBLED\Bin
3. After that copy this command ".\wICPFLASHADSBv2.exe/File=nu51_3.04"

As you can see the version of the file I have is nu51_3.04, you might want to update it before if you haven't already.

Do let me know it works or not, because it worked well for me.

Buy a new mobo that doesn't use Polychrome.

Only solution to any of the b450m boards ASRock made that I've came across.

I cant wait to upgrade cause I'm throwing my b450m a/c in the trash cause I would never feel okay selling someone broken parts.
