H97 Performance MB won't boot from CD/DVD

I have a new Fatality H7 Performance MB+ Intel i3-4330 CPU+16GB Corsair 1600 RAM. I have set the BIOS to boot from the DVD drive so that I can install the Windows OS. The BIOS recognizes the optical drive, but will not read/boot from it. I have replaced the drive with the same result. I have tried a different Windows disk with the same result (in both drives).
