Dear Meta4,
Thank you for posting your query to the ASRock forum. Sorry that we couldn't get back to you sooner. When booting if the screen shows anything like "Reboot and select the proper boot device" it means that the system does not detect the HDD/SSD. Here is what you can do. 1. Try to install the HDD/SSD to different SATA ports. 2. Try different SATA cables. 3. Check if HDD/SSD on a different system. If the HDD/SSD can work, kindly try to clean install the Win10. With thanks, ASRock TSD |

Hello, I updated my BIOS to 4.20 from 1.xx and now it does not automatically boot into Windows OS.
I have checked the boot options in BIOS and priority to make sure Window Boot Manager is first but the system does not boot automatically. On the boot screen, I have to press F11, then select the Windows Boot Manager to boot into the OS on startup and restarts. If I leave the system to start/boot normally, it just loops back to press F2 to select the correct disk etc. Any ideas appreciated. |
