Hello,
I've been having a problem for a while now that I can't seem to solve. Frequently throughout the day, my Ethernet connection on my PC will drop, forcing me out of MP games and such, or causing whatever else on chrome to stop for a few seconds. The network connection will come back up after a few seconds, but it's enough to disrupt me in games like Destiny 2 that require a constant connection. I have my BIOS updated, LAN and WLAN drivers up to date, disabled power mgmt on both drivers, installed an 2 month older version of the LAN driver. I have also swapped out Ethernet cables multiple times, and have upgraded my router twice since the issue began(unrelated, moved houses and such), so it shouldn't be the actual network. Every so often, it won't happen for a while, then picks back up to once every hour or so. Not really sure what else to try, save for a reset on Windows, which I would prefer to stay away from unless absolutely necessary. I hope someone has got something else that I can try. Thanks. |
