Hello everyone, i found on https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z270%20Extreme4/index.pl.asp#Storage
that my motherboard supports Seagate drive with PCIe4 x4 interface. However my motherboard Asrock Z270 Extreme4 has M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 what we can read from official user's manual. My question: does my motherboard can achieve full speed of 5000 MB/s Read from avaiable in Seagate FireCuda 520 SSD or information from the website means that it will work, but with bottleneck of 3rd generation speed that oscillates about 3500 MB/s read? Maby there is a mistake, and there should be information for PCIe3 x4 interface in that place. Seagate has Gen 3 FireCuda drive so maby it's only transposed digits. Thanks for all responses. |
